Ready to respond when every second counts, Hatzolah’s dedicated and skilled Volunteer Community Emergency First Responders are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week managing patients until ambulance arrives.
Working together with Ambulance Victoria, Responders carry life-saving equipment and medications including defibrillators, oxygen and other emergency medications.
Hatzolah’s 25th Anniversary last year was overshadowed by COVID-19 and remarkably we had a significant increase in call volumes. Despite the challenges presented, we developed the JEAP app together with CSG, electronic Patient Care Records and upgraded our call-taking system and capacity to ensure we maintain our lightning fast response times.
To improve overall patient care, we heavily invested in forging other strong relationships with community organisations, Victoria Police, Australian Federal Police and local Councils. Combined with services ranging from First Aid Training to School and Community Education programs, Hatzolah aims to fortify the Chain of Survival and best patient outcomes.
More than ever, Hatzolah now needs your help, so we can continue saving lives.
